Then there is selective evaporation of different types of layers. Laser ablation acts on the surface of an object and removes material from that surface with an absolute minimum of interference. The level can be easily changed and adjusted depending on the material, the intensity of the laser beam, the pulse length and the wavelength of the laser used.
